Tamarack is a very popular species of softwood firewood. It is easy to light and burns hot producing little ash.  The Cubic Meter Tote is roughly equal to 1/5 of a cord putting out BTU's similar to birch. Our tamarack is seasoned to a moisture content of 20% or less.

Pine is a softwood. It yields minimal heat and burns faster than our tamarack.  It does produce that lovely snap & crackle.  It is also seasoned to a moisture content of 20% or less.
